In this role, she promotes and supports ADB projects to achieve road safety outcomes and oversees the Asia-Pacific Road Safety Observatory hosted at ADB.
Before joining ADB, Priti spent eight years at the United Nations as Head of Office and Advisor to the UN Special Envoy for Road Safety, where she played a key role in establishing and operationalizing the UN Road Safety Fund. With 15 years of experience intersecting the health and transport sectors across academic, public, and international domains, her work has focused on road safety, mobility, injury prevention, reproductive health, and both communicable and non-communicable diseases. Priti holds a Master’s in Public Health from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Boston College in the US.
