Devendra Dahal is a seasoned Nepali politician currently serving as the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport in the Government of Nepal. He assumed this role on July 15, 2024, under the Fourth Oli Cabinet led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. In addition to his ministerial duties, Dahal has been a member of the National Assembly (Rastriya Sabha) since March 4, 2020, representing Koshi Province.
Devendra Dahal pursued University Degree from Tribhuvan University(TU). His political journey began in 2036 BS (circa 1979 AD) as a student union leader actively involved in the movement against the Panchayat system.
As the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Dahal oversees the development and maintenance of Nepal's physical infrastructure, including national highways, railways, and waterways.
