Aseri Naula Driu
Senior Transport Planner, Ministry of Transport, Fiji

Aseri Naula Driu is a Fijian transport policy and planning professional with over a decade of public sector experience. She is Acting Director of Transport in the Ministry of Public Works, Meteorological Services and Transport, where she leads national and regional initiatives on sustainable mobility, road safety, maritime decarbonisation, and legislative reform. Aseri holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Affairs, specializing in Maritime Energy Management, from the World Maritime University, a Diploma in Transport Planning from Galilee International Institute of Management in Israel, and a BA in Economics and Management & Public Administration from the University of the South Pacific. She has represented Fiji at international forums, including IMO negotiations and COP climate conferences, advancing the Pacific’s transport and climate resilience agenda. Passionate about safer, cleaner, and more accessible transport systems, she works to balance economic growth, environmental stewardship, and equitable development.
