Amalia C. Rolloque is a committed road safety advocate and social development leader with over 26 years of experience in public health, social work, and community development. Her work centers on protecting vulnerable road users especially children through policy advocacy, community-based programs, and multi-sectoral partnerships.

She led the Walk This Way campaign of Safe Kids Worldwide Philippines, reaching over 2 million children nationwide through pedestrian safety education and advocacy for safer school zones. Amalia also spearheaded the formation of the National Coalition for Child Road Traffic Injury Prevention (CRTIP), and was instrumental in advancing key child road safety legislation in the Philippines, including the Children’s Safety on Motorcycles Act (RA 10666) and the Child Restraint Law (RA 11229).

A recognized leader in the field, Amalia has participated in global and regional road safety leadership programs and fellowships, including those supported by the WHO, FIA, GRSP/Johns Hopkins University, and Hasselt University. She is also a proud alumna of academic and professional scholarship programs in Israel, Japan, and the Philippines.

Her regional contributions include providing technical assistance to the Government of Samoa in developing its National Road Crash Database System, a World Bank supported initiative that strengthened data-driven policymaking on road safety. She also contributed to both the Philippine Road Safety Action Plan 2023–2028 and the Metro Manila Road Safety Action Plan 2024–2028.

In 2024, Amalia was awarded Best Submission by a New Practitioner at the Australasian Road Safety Conference (ARSC) and now serves as a member of its Scientific Advisory Group. She is a proud member of the Australasian College of Road Safety International Chapter and will take part in the 2025 GRSLC Alumni Network Summit: Asia.

Currently, Amalia serves as a Trustee of the Center for Policy Studies and Advocacy on Sustainable Development, Inc. (The Policy Center) and continues her consultancy work on road safety, child protection, drowning prevention, senior citizen welfare, and urban health. Her leadership continues to demonstrate the power of advocacy, evidence, and inclusive collaboration in building safer, healthier communities.

Dave’s contributions to public service have been recognised with two Royal Honours: he was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) in the 2012 Royal Honours and was named a Member of the Order of St John (MStJ) in 2013.

With a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to road safety, Dave continues to drive global efforts to make roads safer for all.
