Ali Nishan is currently the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Maldives. He is a former Chairman and Board Member of the Maldives Tourism Development Corporation PLC and a former Board Member of Felivaru Fisheries Limited. He was also a Corporate Governance Certified Director. 

He has 16 years of experience in the business sector, including 8 years in the travel and tourism industry.
