	Neil Thompson is the Director of the Australia’s National Road Safety Data Hub. Since taking up the position in early 2021, Neil has been focussed on establishing the Data Hub to deliver nationally consistent, credible and consumable data and information to support the prevention of fatal and serious injuries on Australian roads. His professional expertise and achievements centre around economic analysis and research on competition, trade and global markets. He has also worked extensively with government and industry groups on the collection and use of data in the Australian agriculture sector, including the development of collection methodologies, IT infrastructure, common data standards and metadata.
