He is supporting the Operations Departments apply Safe System thinking for best possible reductions in death and injury from road use; enhancing road safety capacity within ADB; building DMC road safety management capacity. His experience covers road system management, regulation, policy and strategy. He has led the development of road safety strategy at state and national levels and contributed to capacity building in Safe System in public and private sector organizations including internationally in India, Indonesia, New Zealand, Thailand and the Middle East. His particular passion is for building and supporting what is needed in multi-stakeholder settings to save lives in road transport. Dave served as a senior executive in government in Australia, Chair National Road Safety Executive Group, Board member Australian New Car Assessment Program, Austroads Program Manager Road Safety, Freight and Registration and Licensing. He is also a co-founder Losningar P/L and Principal Consultant Safe System Solutions P/L. Dave is Australian. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Masters in Environmental Studies, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. | |
