H.R. Pasindu
Senior Lecturer, University of Moratuwa National Council for Road Safety Sri Lanka

Dr. H.R.Pasindu is a Senior lecturer in the Transportation Engineering Division, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He also serves as the Director, Engineering Research Unit of the university. Prior to joining  academia, he worked at the Land Transport Authority, Singapore as an Executive Engineer in Road Asset Management Division.

He obtained his Ph.D in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore and is also a Chartered Engineer.

He is a Council Member of the National Council for Road Safety in Sri Lanka where he is also serving in the capacity of an advisor for the development of the National Road Accident Data Management System and the Road Safety Strategic Plan for Sri Lanka.

He is the Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Sri Lanka and is a Council member in the Asian Pavement Engineering Society.
