Karlina Octaviany
Karlina Octaviany is a digital anthropologist and digital communication strategist with experience in the areas of digital media, journalism, knowledge management, and community-driven development. She works as a Artificial Intelligence Advisor for FAIR Forward, program for AI democratization in GIZ Indonesia to support inclusive and safe open source AI. Octaviany holds an MSc. in Digital Anthropology from University College London. Her project on AI and forest protection, "Forest Forward" just got nominated by UNDP & ITU SDG Digital GameChangers Award on Planet - Innovation for Our Climate and Environment. Karlina released her research on digital activism in Indonesia in book "Bangtan Remixed: A Critical BTS Reader" published by Duke University Press, US.
