Regional Consultation with Civil Society Organizations from the Pacific

7 March 2024 | Nadi, Fiji

ABOUT

The regional consultation will take place on 7 March in hybrid format from Nadi, Fiji. It will focus on the civil society organizations’ feedback on the draft policy including the 10 Environment and Social Standards (ESSs) as well as Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) implementation challenges. The government representatives are expected to articulate their respective country’s official comments or feedback on the draft ESF.

Participants will be coming from Civil Society Organizations based in Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu. Participation is by invitation only.
