Paul Curry

Paul Curry is the Principal Operations Coordination Specialist in the Pacific Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).  The ADB is a multilateral development bank, based in Manila, with 67 member countries whose mission is to help establish a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific region.  

Prior to joining ADB Mr. Curry served in the U.S. Treasury Department for more than 10 years where he held a variety of senior positions. He represented the U.S. as the Alternate Executive Director on the Board of Directors of the ADB for more than four years where he formulated and communicated U.S. positions on a wide range of Bank projects and polices.  

He also served as the Executive Secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department where he coordinated the review and approval of policies, regulations, and memorandum for the Secretary. While at the Treasury Department Mr. Curry was named as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Management where he was responsible for the formulation and execution of the Department’s budget, procurement, human resources, building operations, and emergency preparedness. Prior to joining the Treasury Department, he was a staff member of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.  

Mr. Curry has served as board member of the Ortigas Center Association Incorporated in the past and currently serves as a board member on the Philippine-American Educational Foundation which provides a range of education awards including the Fulbright scholarship.   

Mr. Curry is a native of Clearwater, Florida.  He holds degrees in business, history, and law.
