The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are jointly organizing a Virtual Roundtable on Local Currency Bond Markets. The roundtable will be held on Wednesday, 27 April 2022 at 1:30 PM Manila time.

The goal of the roundtable is to strengthen the knowledge and experience of participants from finance ministries, central banks, and associated agencies on the development and operation of local currency bond markets and to promote regional dialogue and cooperation.

The program will feature presentations from IMF on the updated Guidance Note for Developing Government Local Currency Bond Markets, from ADB on its own Asian Local Currency funding operations, and a panel discussion with participants from ADB’s developing member countries.
