Event Overview

Welcome to the first peer to peer learning event for the project - Building Resilience of Urban Communities BRUC (TA 9329). This is an opportunity to bring together project partners and local stakeholders including community members, civil society, and government from the cities working on this project. Other actors in urban resilience from the ADB and UCCRTF and from across the sector will join so we can learn from each other’s experience, share and solve challenges and inspire current and future action for community-led urban resilience.

The virtual learning event will run for a maximum of 2 hours (12:00 PM – 02:00 PM Manila Time) on February 15 to 16, 2022.

Event Objectives

• Empowerment of community voice: the event will create opportunities for community stakeholders to share and hear each other’s experience.
• Knowledge and learning: the event will enable different stakeholders working on the project to share their experiences, good practices, challenges and successes.
• Inspiration: we hope the event will inspire the current and future practice of community-led urban resilience.
