Salve Ibañez, President and CEO, Empower and Transform
Salve Ibañez is a financial journalist, TV host, and an advocate for financial literacy. She currently hosts Panalong Diskarte on DZMM Teleradyo and anchors Business Outlook on ANC. Recognized by the SEC as an Investor Champion, she also leads Empower and Transform, making financial education accessible to Filipinos everywhere.
Rochelle Tomas, Director, BSP
Rochelle is the Director of the Consumer Protection and Market Conduct Office (CPMCO) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). She oversees teams that formulate consumer protection policies, implement market conduct supervision and surveillance, and manage the BSP Consumer Assistance Mechanism, including its chatbot channel, the BSP Online Buddy (BOB).
Prior to her CPMCO position, Rochelle was overseeing implementation of BSP’s financial education partnerships with key public and private sector stakeholders. She was also involved in implementing BSP’s financial inclusion policies and advocacy programs, and the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion.
Rajesh Bansal, Former CEO, Reserve Bank of India, Innovation Hub (RBIH)
Rajesh Bansal is a visionary in digital financial services and Digital Public Infrastructure, with over thirty years of ground-breaking experience across Asia and Africa. As the founding CEO of the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH), a subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India, he propelled innovation and transformation in the financial sector between 2021 and April 2025, most notably spearheading the Unified Lending Interface to leverage alternate data and launching mulehunter.ai to reduce cyber frauds in India. Widely recognized as an authority in Fast Payment Systems, Mr. Bansal’s work has set new benchmarks in the financial industry.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Bansal has shaped some of the region’s most influential digital initiatives. As a founding team member at UIDAI from 2010 to 2015, he led the design and execution of flagship projects including Aadhaar, Direct Benefits Transfer, and eKYC, driving financial inclusion at an unprecedented scale. He has served on numerous Committees of the Government of India and the RBI, holds a Master’s degree in International Development from Duke University, USA, and has been honored with the prestigious RBI Golden Jubilee Scholarship.
Jojo Malolos, President and CEO, PayMongo
Elmer “Jojo” Malolos was appointed as the new CEO of Paymongo in February of 2023. He is a highly accomplished CEO with extensive experience in Mobile and Digital Financial Services (DFS) across emerging markets like the Philippines, Latin America, and Africa. He currently leads PayMongo, a Fintech startup facilitating online payment acceptance for SMEs. Previously, he served as CEO of JG Digital Equity Ventures Inc (JGDEV) and Data Analytics Ventures Inc (DAVI) of the Gokongwei Group, and co-founded GoTyme Bank, a licensed digital bank. Jojo's leadership has been instrumental in introducing financial services to both banked and unbanked populations through innovative mobile money ventures such as WING Specialised Bank and Smart Money. He's an active member of the Southeast Asia Senior Advisory Council for Women’s World Banking, advocating for financial access. With a background in companies like PriceWaterhouseCoopers, IBM Corp., and Smart Communications, Jojo is dedicated to fostering successful FINTECH initiatives in ASEAN, bridging technology and finance for the underserved. He also holds expertise in supporting startups, deploying capital, and understanding future-oriented technology platforms.
Nitin Madan, Director, Responsible Inclusive Finance Facility, SPTF
Nitin Madan has been working to expand financial inclusion across South and Southeast Asia for over two decades. His career has focused on helping low-income households, micro and small businesses, and communities gain fair access to finance while ensuring that services are delivered responsibly.
As Director of the SPTF’s Responsible Inclusive Finance Facility for Southeast Asia (RIFF-SEA), Nitin leads efforts to promote financial health and resilience, especially for clients facing debt stress. He works with a wide network of partners—from policymakers and investors to grassroots organizations—to create solutions that empower financial services clients, reduce financial vulnerability, and build long-term resilience.
Based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Nitin holds a Master’s in Poverty and Development from the Institute of Development Studies, UK.
