Since 2019, the annual ADB Economists’ Forum has served as a platform for the family of economists and all ADB staff to present and discuss original research, promote knowledge sharing, and learn cutting-edge techniques. The Forum aims to raise the profile and quality of ADB research and knowledge products while providing an opportunity for economists to shape the research agenda to be pursued under ADB’s New Operating Model (NOM). The Forum aims to foster knowledge sharing across the Bank and facilitate collaborative research work to strengthen the OneADB approach and knowledge partnerships. 

The Economic Research and Development Impact (ERDI) Department will hold the 6^th Forum on 17–19 January 2024—the first forum under the NOM! At the 2024 Forum, all presenters, panelists, discussants, and moderators should participate in person, while the audience may join either in person or online.

The system is now open to accept submissions of research papers, sessions, or posters. We invite you to register and submit your unpublished article or research in progress on any timely topic in economics by 15 October 2023. Multiple proposals from staff are welcome and shall be submitted separately.
